I get a kick out of this chopper everytime I use it to cut biscuit dough. I found it years ago at a thrift store and along the handle it's inscribed with the words: "Kwik Kut Mfg. Co. Mohawk, NY."
I have no idea whether it's new or old. The company's been making them for years. "The Kwik-Kut chopper made life in the kitchen easier for your grandmother," the website boasts. "It is still a kitchen marvel."

Where can I purchase the kwik cut ??

My husband bought a Kwik-Kut in an antique store for $2.00. We had no idea what it was until this great web site. Thanks for all the information.

My mother still has one close to 50 years old. The handle is thinner, more like a hexagonal thick bar than a flat wide thing.
Hers was made in Ilion NY. Family is from that general area.
The company later moved to Mohawk, NY which is apparently where they still are.
